Indongo's my boy. Loved what he did previous to the Bud fight which is one of the most impressive nothing to something get on the map moves I've seen in boxing over multiple fights since I've been a fan.

BUT I think Regis is on another level. I think he could be the #1 guy at 140 right now (although obviously he gots a long way to prove it still). I'll be rooting on my mfing man Indongo & w/e goes on I hope DiBella is paying my dude well so he's good post-boxing cuz he's an older cat already & probably (hopefully) isn't in the game much longer.

Regis Prograis will face a different former 140-pound champion in his upcoming title shot. ESPN.com reported Monday that Julius Indongo has replaced an injured Viktor Postol as Prograis' opponent March 9. Ukraine's Postol (29-1, 12 KOs) suffered a fractured thumb recently, which forced him to withdraw from their scheduled 12-round fight for the WBC's interim super lightweight title.

I really like Regis, fun style and great personality, but I think he is severely limited. If he'd go up against somebody like Mikey for example, he'd get absolutely schooled. Exciting fighter but I really don't think he goes that far. think he beats Indongo though, who is nothing special.

Speaking of nothing to something moves, Chris Algieri had a great come up. Fought Emmanuel Taylor for 15k on ESPN. Moved on to Provodnikov for 150,000 on HBO (or showtime, can’t remember) and capped it w 1.5 mil vs Pacquiaoon PPV. That was an amazing run career wise. Had he won vs PAC maybe he could have fought Mayweather for 15 million! I kid I kid.

As far as fighters stepping in on short notice you could do a lot worse than Indongo, a former world champion who isn't coming off a 2 year layoff or something ridiculous like that.

It will be fun to compare Prograis' performance against him to that of Terence Crawford.
