Well you lost on paper, but you also lost...you know, the fight. Thurman was just the better man that night. That being said, I think Thurman has peaked. After the injury and time off, I'm curious if he'll be the same. KO power wasn't even there the last time.

I'm counting the Peterson win also. Peterson gave away some of the early rounds but Danny didn't do much more either. The late rounds were clear winners for Peterson and those rounds were more dominant the rounds Garcia "won." It wasn't as blatant as the Herrera but I count it as a gift.

Garcia could have won the decision, but it was his own fault for not throwing more. Also, DSG is the strong favorite to face Spence late this year. He fought the #1 ww last year and he will probably fight the new #1 ww this year. Yes, he sure thinks he deserves the easy route.
Malignaggi, Guererro, and Samuel Vargas, then Thurman, and now Rios! Call it what you want!

Guess they should call him Danny not too swift Garcia. He looked like he was waiting for a bus. At many points in the fight he simply stood right in front of Keith no time Thurman. Someone posted he should fight Porter. I agree. The winner of that fight would nice options, such as Crawford, Thurman and Spence.

Danny has good timing and an overhand left, that's it.
He needs a stiff, a come straight forward fighter to make him look good.

Danny got beat up pretty good, if he wants a 2nd shot at Thurman he needs to fight Spence first.

Oh, Jesus, man... Danny and his father were jumping for joy when they mistakingly (and funnily as hell) thought they got the decision. Thinking they got the nod, those two reacted like they won the lottery. Not so. The judges awarded the right man the win.

If he really wanted to avenge that loss to Thurman, the quickest way to a rematch would've been to beat Shawn Porter! If he wanted to show love to Philly, he could've demanded Porter come to Philly! I'm sure Porter would oblige! Garcia vs. Porter! Make it happen! Might as well, Thurman is in no rush to face Garcia, Porter, nor Spence Jr.!
Rios will jar him back to reality. He is a solid enough fighter to make him work and realize he is NOT all that and a bag of Frito-Lays. Garcia will win going away, but Rios will make him work.

                    Like the Garcia-Porter fight.....

I think Rios was an unnecessary fight! A win doesn't help Garcia, and a loss would ruin his career! Saturday's fight should be Garcia vs. Porter!
