Loma does have more ability to push to get his way as you're suggesting with the Salido fight, but Arum has shown the desire to keep things in house so he's not likely to want to put Loma in a tournament that could end hurting his hype if he were to lose or get hurt or w/e & Arum has no or lil upside (idk how exactly the WBSS is keeping in fighter promoters involved, but I don't believe any of the shows have been co-promoted as of yet its all a Sauerland operation).
I just don't see it happening. I believe its too much of a gamble even if Loma is the most likely to win the tournament. I would be curious to know the upside any of the promoters who had fighters in this year were "in" on anything beyond the usual cut of a fighters purse when they fight for an outside promoter that I believe is standard.Comment

Fighters ain't scared of cats like fans think. Fighters actually tend to have TOO MUCH confidence in themselves if anything on average.Comment

Shut the hell up! He did not stop the Salido fight because Bob Arum planned and promised Loma that fight, and to make him champion immediately, Arum wasn’t happy that Salido kill any chances for the Juanma vs Gamboa fight. He wanted revenge, Salido had other plans. Salido has derailed Bob’s plans twice. So to answer your ****** assessment, why would Arum prevent Loma fighting Salido when he wanted him to be humiliated? Different scenarios with Ramirez.Comment
