Shame GGG is 36, there are good fights after Canelo IF he wins, i say he loses a MD. But damn, BJS, Jacobs rematch or Murata or moving up to fight Zurdo are all good fights. Dunno how much he has left we'll see come May.

Cut the **** larry. At least GGG was the man pressing the fight. But maybe that's your definition of "plodding".

I dont care what Canelo did. Plod, tap dance, fly through the air with the greatest of ease. Bottom line he lost and got a gift from the judges.

Canelo got hit clean also. Looking at punch stats Golovkin landed more and don't give me that crap about jabs not counting as punches. Golovkin was in control of the fight fought longer than Canelo in each round. Canelo got out hustled by a 35 year old fighter. I live in the real world apparently you don't. Canelo had no answers so he went to the ropes. He rarely backed Golovkin up and Golovkin backed him up constantly.
80 percent of boxing writers, boxers and experienced observers had Golovkin winning the fight. Canelo could not figure out how to take away Golovkin's jab. For crying out loud Canelo's best punches couldn't force Golovkin to the ropes but G forced Canelo to the ropes with a jab the most basic punch in boxing. Canelo got a gift plain and simple. Can he win a rematch? Possibly but he's going to have to put on his big boy pants and stay off the ropes or he is going to lose again.

They changed the rules because of that BS Jacobs pulled. Thats blatant trying to cheat in my eyes!!! Can you imagine starving yourself to make weight. While the other guy isnt??? Thats was a POS move they pulled on GGG.

                  1. GGG
                  1A. Canelo
                  3. Jacobs
                  4. Charlo
                  5. Sergiy
                  6. Murata
                  7. Andrade
                  8. Saunders
Lol. Really, you think Jacobs cheated. Lmao he didn't fight for the IBF title because the 170 next day weigh in. But he is a big 160lber and if memory serves me correctly any boxer and 98% due starve themselves to get in the lowest weight class they can. They changed the ruling for Canelo as all other belts don't do 2nd day weigh in. And the IBF was not about to give up the $ fees for the GGG and Canelo fight. Either way Canelo wins the rematch and probably pretty easy to be honest. GGG is aging and I don't see him fighting any better then his 1st fight but Canelo is in his prime and learns from each and every fight. Canelo also know what to expect from GGG and 3rd Canelo is going to be much better adjusted to the 160lb weight. A third fight will be GGG'S only option if Canelo gives it to him. Canelo will not give BJS the chance but Charlo will be a option as well as Danny Jacobs.
It's going to be all up to Canelo who gets a crack at the belts. And for a sanctioning body to try to hold a mandatory good luck as Canelo doesn't care about the belts as much as the opponent.

Lmao, really. 1st rewatch the fight and see if GGG really landed 60 more punches because most hit Canelo's guard which means no. And Canelo landed at a much higher % on power shots by far with cleaner harder shots. GGG as you even pointed out threw 200 more shots but didn't land ****! Aggressor only counts if it's effective aggression!!! Which it clearly was not. When I watched it live I gave Canelo 1-3 and 10-12 draw. Rewatching it I had Canelo up 116/112 as I remembered effective aggression. And had it been a pure slick boxer like Mayweather nobody would have 2nd thought the score I gave Canelo as GGG was not effective. Canelo fought his fight and GGG looked bad. I'm a equal fan of both so no favorite picking just honest thought.

If he continues to fight, he will end his career like Cotto. At the end Cotto was beaten by a not strong guy like Charlo or Jacobs, he was defeated by welterweight who was knocked out by Jessie Vargas.

By the way I don't think Canelo , Jacobs , Eubank and Charlo will continue their career's after 36.

Cotto only lost because he ripped his bicep. Cotto had fought very well the past few years so it had nothing to do with age but injury.
