Best moment in boxingscene history is when some dude said that Jacobs puts Jones in a hospital.

      I'm really enjoying debating you.

I never said that he suffered mostly due to a physical decline. All I've said is that your ratio is unbalanced, and that it was a culmination of the 2 factors.

If you watched his career like I did, you must have noticed the physical differences in him. You must have noticed that his legs were completely different. You must have noticed his diminished reflexes. It was plain to see.

          What answer do you want?

You obviously don't know who the guy was.

I wouldn't say that labellng you as being clueless was an immature attack.

          Just reread what you've posted:

You can't rate Roy on a H2H basis.

You think GG has more ability.

You think Ian Gardner would have beaten Tim Littles.

You think that Jacobs would have hospitalised Roy.

If you're going to write nonsense like that, then you're going to have to expect to be labelled as being clueless.

Just out of interest, where would rate Roy in your list of the greatest SMW's?

Or you can say - based on ability. But this is subjective. Objectively Jones did not do enough to warrant ATG status. Not enough fights with another great opponents. But if you remember him fighting, you would have a really hard time picking against him in any fantasy match-up. That is if you being honest. He will beat all the great fighters in MW and SMW silly, due to the combination of speed, reflexes and power. And I firmly believe that pre-Ruiz RJJ would've beaten Tarver convincingly.
            Everybody has different criteria.

In my honest opinion, he did enough to warrant being labelled as an ATG.

Ten years at the top, and he was undefeated apart from the Griffin DQ.

He won titles in 4 weight classes, and was only the 2nd guy in history to reclaim the LHW titles after going from MW-HW.

He beat fighters with ease, barely losing rounds in the process.

He was named fighter of the decade.

He'd be favoured over anyone today who fights between MW-CW.

I wouldn't include RJJ in a list about SMW's, because his resume is incomplete.

                I can't rank anyone that I haven't seen. I have been watching since 1986.

                Best fighters I have seen:

                1. Floyd
                2. Roy
                3. Sweet Pea
                4. Chavez
                5. Lennox
                6. Pac
                7. B Hops
                8. Mike Tyson
                9. Oscar
                10. Tito

Instead of going a round without getting hit against Paz, he should have fought say Nunn.

Instead of playing basketball and boxing on the same night against Lucas, he should have fought say Liles.

Now you can say that in an eye test, Jones look like an atg but facts are that there’s to many missing boxers on his resume.

Another thing is that personally I wouldn’t put much emphasis on the final part of his career when his skill was eroded. I could have lived without that.

One record the writer has forgot is, that Jones has the record for being the multi-weight champion who has been ktfo on most continents.

                      Hilarious.

Yeah, I'm sure Duran fighting there in his 40's, was akin to Roy being classed as the best fighter in the world when he beat Toney at the weight.

You would be ridiculed if you made a thread.
