I dont know what wilders highest purse is but, I was watching Berbick vs Tyson again yesterday and Berbick was paid $2,100,000 32 years ago for defending the WBC title. Lol Wilder's highest purse was the money he won in court for the Povetkin fight.

Seriously - it was like 5 million or somewhere around there. He won the lawsuit in NYC over it.

Aside from that, though, his actual highest purse he's won from fighting is probably around 1.5-1.8 million. Just a guess based on what PBC/Showtime would pay..

Wilder is always saying weird **** that makes no sense, he literally says the first thing that comes to his mind and so often comes off as an idiot. You often see him spout off some stream of abstract consciousness then realise what he is saying makes no sense then switches to a different subject. Trying to make sense of what comes out of Wilder's mouth is an exercise in futility.
