Yeah. That appears to be about the size of it. It's hard to blast him on it because of how tragically fans prize the "0" these days, but it is such a disservice to the fight game to conduct business this way. Half the potentially great fighters out there waste their primes chasing mega-fights instead of chasing the best fights to position themselves as the next superstar other guys will be chasing.

Excuse for what? He already fought and beat Golovkin but got jobbed. Charlo's best wins are J Rock and Trout. One went life and death with featherfisted Sugar Shay and the other got stopped by the basketball player looking Margarito knock off Jarrett Hurd.

I actually had Trout beating him on my scorecard. He also was boo"d badly when he was declared the winner. Dont get me wrong hes a great fighter but BOTH Canelo and GGG would beat him....

I like Charlo also but he has a lot of flaws in his game. He needs to keep studying and learning. At this point he would just take a loss. Hes still about 4-5 fights away from really doing dirt.

I think he beat Trout. He stayed ahead of him on the cards all night but Lara and Hurd beat Trout far more convincingly. Jermall impresses me though so I can't knock him. I also want to see how he does against Centeno. That fight against crazy legs made it hard to gauge Jermall at 160.

That's what it is. Derevyanchenko tried hard for a Andrade fight while he waits at least. I guess I can't blame Charlo though. It's a smart move.
