Keith Thurman's route to Spence

one thing is absolute certain, thurman is running out of time and hes running out of excuses.. he has told us all that 2018 will be a get back year, so after he fights his tuneup, then his mandatory, he has no choice, he HAS to fight spence. there are no more excuses, he has exhausted them all. So if he does not fight spence in his 3rd fight back, he will get the worst flaming ever saw to man kind. we have backed him into a corner so he MUST fight spence! his other options are to retire, or vacate his belts. There is no other choice for him... the only other thing he could do is fake an injury. that is the only possible way he will be able to hold onto those belts for a little while longer.
im not so sure he even gets passed his mandatory whether it be porter or garcia. i sure hope he does.Comment

Thurman is coming off an injury while Spence been taking on top competition and crushing them. So I understand that Keith wants to be 120% ready b4 fighting this monster.
And most was saying that he was ****** to use Vargas as a tune up. Now we trashing him for nor
Let's see what Keith does after a tuneup b4 we trash 1timeComment

Keith deserves his easy tuneup this first fight back. Im probably in the minority but I honestly wouldn't mind a rematch with shawn porter at the end of the year tbh. First fight was great, shawn is a legit top 3-5 ww and is also keiths mandatory. But If Keith STILL doesn't fight Spence after that then that's bullschitLast edited by Dodger07; 02-08-2018, 06:50 PM.Comment

Unfortunately, Thurman doesn't get a pass for this latest injury, as he was already on the edge of acceptable timings to begin with.
When you're responsible for not making big fights, then you get injured - you don't deserve a clean slate for your original problem.
His plan has been a load of **** for years - I don't think he had any real intention of running a gauntlet, or anything close to it.Comment

You guys are always so eager to see injured fighters fighting, to then have a dull fight because the fighter was not 100% and complain about how in hindsight the fight should've been postponed or a rematch is needed with the injured fighter at 100%. I like both guys and wish success for both, but i'm not interested in seeing a fight with an injured fighter who may turn in a dull performance.Comment

Call Colonel Pac, get him in some "salt water". If it heels "severely" torn rotator cuffs in a month it should heal whatever ails Keith.
