People who keep trying to compare this to Lara make me laugh because you don't know shyt about boxing. Lara refused to fight in the pocket. Canelo literally was in the pocket all night he actually sat on the ropes 1/3 of the fight you idiots. Stop the running BS just because your guy looked foolish missing all night long and large chunk of that was on the ropes against a stationary non moving/running target.
Bro, he was on the ropes because he "ran" out of backpedaling room. This isn't the WWE were you can step through the ropes, fight on the announcers table and get back in before the 10 count

I just stated that his post fight reaction seems very similar, I didn't say they fought exactly the same. And lets not exaggerate and say he stayed in the pocket all night, NO He didn't. He Moved around that ring more than you've ever seen him do in his career and for the Record, he was outlanded by lara and ggg. Canelo fans and their power punch stats are so ridiculous. How many real power shots did you see him land through out either of those fights? I'm not referring to slapping hooks and keep away right hands. I mean shots with real power on them? Not nearly enough to make up for getting outlanded in most rounds and being outworked for the majority of each round like he was vs ggg. And lastly, was Canelo not also booed by his own fans at the end of his fight vs ggg???

Yeah he was playing patty cake. That must be why Canelo avoided contact for half the fight and threw barely any punches in a few rounds. You either know nothing about boxing or you are a bias Canelo fanatic. Golovkin was coming forward ALL fight. He was the aggressor trying to make a good fight. Canelo stunk the place out with his psuedo-evasive boring counter punch style that did no damage.

Lara and Canelo landed virtually the same amount of punches but canelo clearly the bigger puncher, busted up Lara's eye and doubled him up in power punches. So how the phuk did Canelo run like Lara when GGG was oulanded in power punches something Lara never did? And how was Canelo running like Lara when for 1/3 of the fight he stood in place laying on the ropes? Again something Lara never did. You had more action and exchanges in any of the Canelo/GGG rounds then you did the entire Lara fight. Fans booed the draw you idiot Canelo wasn't booed during the fight. Nobody complained this was a snoozefest or terrible fight. Fans complained because the draw at the end. Lara was booed from beginning to the end of that fight long before any decision.

If you don't get that for most judges they will score the power punch greater then the puzzy jab sorry go watch amateur boxing. If all that matter was the total punches landed regardless of the quality of those punches we would just have compubox numbers tally the scores and announce the winner and not have judges. Just because GGG is too damn slow and one dimensional so he couldn't hit Canelo don't mean he ran. It's the dumbest argument when you get outlanded in power punches and there is video evidence of the other man laying on the ropes 1/3 of the fight not moving or as you call running. LMAO

you clearly don't know what's considered a power punch as far as punch stats as opposed to a punch that lands with actual power. There are certain jabs that land with more authority than what's counted as a "power punch". I'd explain with further detail but I don't have the time to bring you up to speed since your knowledge level is basic.

No comparison at all Canelo Out landed Lara in power punches 107 to 95 while Lara out landed Canelo in jabs 108 to 97 according to compubox, Lara did all that damage in the first Three rounds, after that he quit trowing anything of notice, other than the occasional jab to the air. to try and keep Canelo away. Canelo on the other hand was hitting mainly arms true, but occasionally some went in to the body and face of Lara. for the remaining of the fight.

Canelo vs Golovkin Canelo won the first 3 rounds and than almost completely abandoned the offensive (only fought in spurts) but camelback and won IMO 10,11 and 12. a thing Lara never tried to do after 3 when he felt canelo's body punching power.
