I'm sure if Mayweather can develop an fighting style like Dominic Cruz he can have a little success in MMA. All Cruz did was dance around and confuse the heck out his opponents. Cruz does have a decent ground game which I'm sure Mayweather does not. Once they took him to the ground the fight would pretty much be over.

They can't be serious about this.

I actually think Floyd would start crying after the first minute of a MMA fight

Difference is, striking with fists is and always had been perfectly legal. You can't ban striking in the strike game. None of Floyd's arsenal is illegal.

He'll beat Conor in MMA the same way he beat everyone in boxing. Pot shot, run, pot shot, run.
You mean he'll just copy Conor's run and shoot strategy against Nate Diaz and use it against him to win? Probably.

Conor will weight Bully him in the octagon! Remember in the first fight Conor had Floyd from behind in a hold? He was just clinching and Floyd needed help from the ref! In the Octagon Conor can get dirty! He will need good cardio cause you know Floyd will use his footwork and superior conditioning to avoid kicks and flying super man punches! Has to be under UFC rules cause if Floyd gets special rules you know it will be a bull**** fight!

Saw on Mayweather IG he been taunting alot of MMA thing but under of course the Mayweather Promotions banner.

I think mayweather shouldnt gives these haters a chance to taint that undefeated record but at the same time how sweet will it be if he goes undefeated in MMA too lmfao. A entire demographic of haters will have to on suicide watch.

IF FMJ takes the MMA route I bet his focus is a sound take down defense. People look at Toney who was a puddle of blubber and out of shape fighting a machine in Cotoure. No take down defense or skills at all. They look at Ray Mercer and see his one shot KO of Tim Sylvia. Ray Mercers victory depended on that one shot hitting the target. Floyd is neither one of these guys. In fact how many MMA fighters with a stand up game win? Many. Conor is KING of the stand up game in the UFC but he looked like a despondent three year old throwing a tantrum in a school yard when he boxed FMJ. Floyds a thinker. Conor will outweigh him no problem so I think there will be a max weight clause. I don't know but somethings up. I know FMJ and White are going to co promote some stuff.

Mouth-breathing UFC fan detected. I don't think Floyd is going to cover up, stand still and allow Conor to take his back. He did that because he was fighting within the rules of boxing, not because that's his go-to fight strategy ya dingus.

No clue, haven't watched that fight, and I don't follow MMA at all. But yeah, that's all Floyd has to do for 3 5-minute rounds... pot shot and run. Conor's only chance at winning would be to bull charge Floyd and get him on the canvas.

Mayweather in MMA, funny he makes a post the same day as Triple G vs Canelo 2. I think it was just a commercial shoot "paddy"
