I forgot to add an (,). I just mean they are the two faces of boxing. But I believe canelo holds the "lineal" belt for the middleweight division.

Fair enough, but I have an feeling floyd is pretty known in the United kingdom by casuals besides that. I could see that. Most casuals here in the USA don't know klitschko, joshua or Wildier that was really my point.

Wilder is certainly no household name here in the US like Joshua is in the UK
AJ is far more well known in the UK than Wilder is in the US.

However, there are plenty of people in the US that know Wilder and don't know AJ. Wilder has been headlining Showtime, NBC and FOX for years now, with millions of people having seen him.

AJ's fights have been in the afternoon, with a few hundred thousand watching.

There's no doubt AJ is the far bigger star worldwide, but in the US, Wilder is definitely the bigger star. AJ's US viewership is clearly far lower than Wilder's.

Wilder's green eyed monster rears it's ugly head again. So much of what he says comes across as him trying to convince himself that he's a big deal. Joshua's status really does seem to really irk Wilder so much... show's he's really not as confident as he likes to portray.

I am guessing AJ is better known even in the USA than Wilder. Wilder might be better known than AJ in Alabama. Wilder might be the biggest blabbermouth in the history of heavyweight champions. He has to shout out his opinion on just about everything. AJ is well enough known that he makes many times more money than Wilder makes per fight.

                  DW,

AJ is the Unified Heavyweight Champion. He beat Klitschko. He's taking on JP to become the universally recognized as the Heavyweight Champion of the World. You're just a titleholder whose going to lose to King Kong. Pay attention to LO.

if wilder and Joshua fought same time and town in USA againts different opponents , which venue do you think would sell out quicker?

Assuming it was comparable opponents, Wilder's fight would sell more tickets.

Non-US fans don't realize that while Wilder isn't some big PPV star, he is still a star in the US. Showtime has dozens and dozens of fighters. Only two of them draw significantly more viewers than the rest: Wilder and Broner.

Wilder is one of Showtime's most reliable ratings draws and he is a solid ticket seller. Wilder vs. King Kong will likely sell 12-15,000 tickets in New York next month head to head with HBO's show in New York.

If Joshua vs. Parker had been held in New York on that night instead of in England, it would struggle to sell that amount.

The problem with Joshua fans is that it's not good enough to concede that AJ is the much bigger star. That he deserves the lion's share of the money, etc. Joshua fans, for whatever reason, feel the need to lie about Wilder's drawing power. Insisting nobody in the US has hear of Wilder, even though the numbers clearly show Wilder is one of the biggest boxing stars in the US.
