There's dudes from my gym fight for more than that on local promotions, man, but you woulda thought signing with Bellator would up the pay grade a little. I mean, yeah, yuo could argue that it gets you exposure but honestly, fuck that... dude's right to turn it down IMO.

$250 is a **** offer to fight anyone, but it should be acknowledged that the offer (if it's actually true) was likely made to some no-name fighter likely being called as a late sub, and that Bellator gives him a set of trunks, a shirt, and a hat, all filled with space for said fighter to throw personal ads on; no idea where the guy was allegedly from, but is the argument that he couldn't find any businesses in his community that'd like to use the TV time to get their business noticed?

$250 turns to $1000+ pretty quick, if you understand what it is.

Yeah... it's difficult for me to get perspective cos I'm an old git and I don't feel quite so indestructable any more, but probably if I was 25 instead of 45 I'd jump at the offer. I'll put the question to some of the guys who actually fight but thinking about it now I'm pretty sure they'd take the opportunity in a heartbeat.

Well, he would make more in next fights after being televised on #2 MMA event.

Man why don't Bellator and UFC just push to legalise slavery already? It would make them even more money and be much easier to make fights happen, and if they rat you out to the media you can just take them out back and put them down.

Someone call Dana White, if he can make this happen Bob Arum might start talking to him again!

Exactly an acquaintance of mine got offered $8,000 to fight prospect Mario barrios on an undercard. Imo that's really good. The bad thing about mma is it's not guaranteed they always have those bonuses to win or win by ko etc

I would agree but it wasn't televised and he actually had to sell a certain amount of tickets to be on that card
