Crawford could have tried to fight a good opponent like Prograis for once, but he moved up to fight more B-level and C-level guys it looks like. That's not Prograis fault. He wanted the fight from everything I've heard.

Imagine what happens if Postol stops Prograis as he did with Matthysse.

Crawford moved up to fight for a world title in a third weight class. Against a guy who was last seen beating Manny Pacquiao.

Prograis brings a lot less to the table in terms of money, world championships, and name recognition. This is a no brainer.

Wrong, he won the 4 belts in 3 separate fights and two of those guys was unbeaten and Postol had just scored a KO of the guy ranked #1 in the division. Crawford simply accomplished his goals and outgrew the division and is going after a title in his first fight with the intention to unify again. Prograis didn't really bring much more to the table than what Horn does now does he? Also, Crawford had cleaned out 135 too.

I thought Ramirez-Imam was for the title? What's going on? Do the winners have to meet? Prograis-Postol is an excellent match-up and if Postol is the same guy he was 2-3 years ago it's difficult fight to pick IMO.

Imam/Ramirez is for the title, Prograis/Postol is to become mandatory. Normally WBC say anyone wins a vacant has to do 2 mandatories back to back. Next up would be Josh Taylor, he'll get rid of all these pretenders.

Crawford isn't fighting Prograis because Prograis is an actual threat that isn't signed with TR. Arum isn't going to allow that to happen.

Crawford is doing the exact same thing as Mikey. Moving up a division to win a belt in a higher division, even though there are good fights in the division they are/were in. Crawford-Prograis would be better than Crawford-Horn and Mikey-Linares would be better than Mikey-Lipinets. Promoters, networks, and money scuttle many good fights. Can't really hate either Mikey or Crawford for doing what's best for them though.

As for the title, I believe the Prograis-Postol is for an interim title. The Imam fight is for the real title. Sometimes they make the full champ fight the interim champ and sometimes they don't.
