Gervonta Davis was IBF Champ in 2017. But he's not ready?

The guy held the title last year and we have so called fan boys saying he's not ready to face lomo and that champions should not face other champs. Since when was a former champ young and in his prime not ready? Ranked 4th in his division by ring. Why have boxing fans turned into such manginas?

I think most fans agree Davis isn't ready for Loma

Getting a strap doesn't mean that he's ready To fight a P4P fighter especially in a weak division. With the young guns you need to slowly raise their competition level

Top Rank got Valdez a strap against a nobody and finally after 2 years he's facing a decent opponent. Zurdo had his over 2 years and still hasn't faced a top dog in his division. I don't see fans clamouring for them to fight the top dogs in their division yet alone P4P guys

The same goes for Tank especially with his upside that Mayweather promotions think he has.

I think people just want to see him lose because he's associated with Floyd and fans only say they want the best to fight the best when they think a fighter they like will probably win

He sounds like a frigid teenage girl saying "I'm not ready" as if Loma's gonna impregnate him in his daddy's house (Mayweather's house)

So if Davis fought Loma tomorrow, you're picking Davis?

Anything that Floyd, or related to the name Mayweather "thinks" - I'd do the exact opposite.

Everything that dude has touched has gone defunct - his rap label (LOL so stereotypical), his lottery soda (LOL)...

Hell, he was broke after 2 years fighting Pacquiao. And it sounds like he's desperate for money again just after making another few hundred million (well, likely after taxes, closer to 100 and some change) not even a year ago hahah.

The only upside is to pitch him to the type of fans who like Broner.. But these types of fans can't afford tickets to fights, and have to pitch in like 20 deep to buy PPVs.

Ever notice that despite Floyd constantly fighting in his backyard of Las Vegas, his opponent ALWAYS had more fans live in attendance? LOOOL

If u need Gervonta Davis to make your career, you might need to reassess your position. Perrhaps it is time to answer Al's phonecalls.

So Davis will never be ready because no intelligent human being would ever pick him to beat Lomachenko.

Davis is scared to lose, scared to look ridiculous and like the crude caveman he is, I get that, but I don't understand why fans are scared to see a fighter lose and don't want a fight to happen to protect the guy's record. Is Davis paying them? What do you get out of it? Feel better because "your boy" who you don't even know, will never meet and who doesn't give a **** about you doesn't lose? Boxing fans are pathetic at times.
