Eubank called him out, and GGG called his bluff. Something about losing his pen?!?!?! Hard to blame any fighter for a poor resume when other fighters within the division avoid him like the plague which was the trend at that time. Look at Wilder, he's kind of fallen into the same mode. Not so great resume, but avoided by the other top guys in his division. Maybe GGG and Wilder are both over-rated, but that is yet to be determined.
    Cold truth. Respect, mate.

Both fighters got hit by some really big shots in the first fight and those can take something out of every fighter. It just depends on the damage each fighter took. Canelo could also be shot now just like GGG could be though that's unlikely. No doubt however that GGG is aging a little bit. I don't know what each fighter can do differently seeing both of them want a knock out badly but I don't see how Canelo can justly beat GGG without the help of some corrupt official.

Ggg is about to break Bernard Hopkins 160 title defense record. Wlad Klitschko dominated heavyweight for many years. Loma appears to be the best boxer on the planet. Yet still people always find a way to try to discredit them, even using their robberies as examples. People cant deal with the fact that Eastern Europeans are starting to take over the game.

I think we might be underrating GGG a bit now.

This, I honestly thought he slightly but clearly beat Jacobs and Canelo last year wich is the best run in 2017 if you ask me.

I think people are counting too much some blocked punches and are overlooking his jab work.

Now he beat them with a lot of problems. I have him winning 7-5 rounds in those fights.

              I rewatched Nelo vs GGG.

Canelo is fast as hell, that's what impressed me in that fight. But Nelo's punches didn't really buzzed GGG, Nelo's fast, crisp punches are not heavy. I'm not believing in a KO.

GGG finally had a good defense, he dodged and blocked a lot of Nelo punches, but Nelo was predictable in his counters, they would work some combos with chapo.

GGG was slow as hell sometimes, I hope they work a bit on timing and quickness.
GGG need a better, quicker connection between his feet and hands.

Quite a few contradictions in Teddy there.

He says GGG is overrated and didn’t look good in the fight, but still scored the fight easily for him. What does that then say about Canelo’s performance and as a fighter?

Which then begs the question...if Canelo was even more disappointing than GGG (despite Atlas saying Canelo fought a good fight at the time), then what is it that convinces him that Canelo will suddenly leap frog a few levels to win easily?

Also, he says GGG is old and slipping and that Canelo is the younger fresher fighter on the up. Then why was it Canelo that was gassing after just 4 rounds and GGG the one who looked more composed, fitter and stronger later on?

I don’t know. I think Teddy is behaving strange here. I think he lost his job over his outburst last time round, and is tryna’ make amends.

I think Teddy losing his marbles. If he says GGG is not so good, old, overrated, then what does it say about Canelo who he says clearly lost to GGG????
