what, do you think that Golovkin suddenly forgot the body?
You have to reach further to go to the body and after round 4, Canelo was backing up all night. It's kind of hard to hit someone to the body when they don't want to exchange and constantly back up. And it wasn't a strategy to land huge counters after the first few rounds. Canelo was scared. That's why he barely threw any punches in some rounds.
Your assessment of the fight is totally bias and thus, inaccurate.

I mean they ALL told me Canelo is a FAT, SLOW, Cement shoed plodder....
Has anyone given you a legit, reasonable explanation on why Canelo ran for half the fight and for some rounds, barely threw any punches? Oh yeah, he's the stronger, younger, fresher fighter but he felt the need to avoid exchanges and throw few punches out of strategy. Even B-Hop, Canelo's co-promoter said Canelo gassed and has stamina problems that need to be addressed before the rematch.
Stop licking Canelo's butt and see things for what they are.
Let's be real for a minute. If Canelo was the 35 year old man and Golovkin was the young gun and the best Golovkin could do is draw, you would be talking all day about Golovkin being all hype and a bum for not taking out an old, past his prime Canelo.

Ggg has no one but himself to blame for him being 36 with nothing but wade's on his record he choose to stay in the amateurs beating up on kids till he was 27.why would a fighter risk a loss on a 27-33 heavy hitter when he does nothing for your wallet or resume

No one knows why he stayed in the amatures. Maybe he didn't want to turn pro. Who knows it's not even relevant. The fact is he had to leave his management team in Europe and move to the US to get meaningful fights. Time marches on and before he got to the big fights he was near the end of his career. His present management IMO is nothing special either.

            " kind of hard " ?????

well, nobody expected it to be easy

dude, Canelo is an A-level fighter..... did you really think that he was just going to fall over for Golovkin?

did you really think that Canelo would/should make it easy for him?

stop talking utter ****, because Golovkin had the exact same problem with Danny Jacobs

like I said, he never punched himself into position to work the body..... he was unwilling to take the risk, because of the movement/counters from Canelo

so, if anything..... Golovkin needs to stop being scared of Canelo..... and you guys need to stop making silly excuses

you are literally crying about the style that Canelo used

imagine how the Lemieux fans feel ?

that is like Pac saying, if he stood still I could have hit him

right, so..... Golovkin IS a killer..... but only if you stand in front of him with your hands down.....?

              right ^^

you are blaming Canelo for being too smart/difficult for Golovkin to beat loool

so..... now we are blaming K2, are we ?

Canelo was a kid when he DEMANDED to fight Lara

Golovkin was a grown man when he rubbished Lara, and then fought someone WORSE

                same with Mora > Adama

                same with Ward > Wade

                same with Canelo > Brook

                same with Cotto > Rubio

Golovkin was steering the ship, and he took the fights he wanted..... even Abel Sanchez admitted that Golovkin does not care about legacy and will only fight on his terms

stop making ridiculous excuses, you fanboy muppet

blaming the promoter is beyond pathetic
