I know he threw nice quick combos but he let too much of the rounds slip away being relatively inactive. Golovkin made mistakes also. He should have gone to the body and he was head hunting too much. He fought a guy that has a bit of a rep as having some stamina problems and he didn't go to the body. It should be an interesting fight just to see what both guys come up with for the rematch.
Agreed, but why did the big bad wolf not tee off on the lil fat red kid when he was on the ropes? He shouldn’t of went to the ropes? Why not, your opponent isn’t doing anything from stopping you from resting on those ropes... anyone would go to ropes to rest if your opponent isn’t doing anything, but throwing tippy tap stat stuffing patty cake harmless jabs and missing everything else he throws... that’s like sparring lol

what came first, the chicken or the egg ?

if you can't handle the heat, then get out of the kitchen

especially considering the fact that you are one of the muppets who decided that throwing BETTER fighters under a bus would somehow reflect well on Gennady

you took your pom-pom waving too far

you actually owe Cotto, Canelo, Ward..... and probably Lara, Martinez, Mayweather..... an apology

        for goodness sake

he couldn't go to the body..... because it was too risky, and because he never punched himself into a position to do so

and the rematch will be just the same

what, do you think that Golovkin suddenly forgot the body?

I honestly think GGG was head hunting in a effort to make a statement via a KO. Unfortunately for him, I think he started his attack too late in the fight. Had the fight gone on for a few more rounds he probably would have gotten the Ko but 15 round fights are a thing of the past. Nor do I think GGG forgot to go to the body, and yes he had plenty of chances toward the end to lay into Canelo without fear of counters because Canelo was shelling up his head like a turtle. GGG just wanted the KO and failed to get it. I’m anxious to see this rematch and see what adjustments both fighters will make in preparation for this fight. Should be a good one.

Has anyone given you a legit, reasonable explanation on how GGG missed over 500 punches???

I mean they ALL told me Canelo is a FAT, SLOW, Cement shoed plodder....

You have a lot of points??? I bet ALL your points GGG does NOT KO Canelo in the rematch. And I'll even give you 3-1 point odds...

Atlas is off his rocker....wasn't sure if the diva could handle the size? Brah.........the girl just fought at 164 right before the GGG fight, where you been old man? GGG gonna be on this running chump like white on rice from the opening bell. He saw all he needed to see the first time around, this time the diva is getting mauled like a side of beef getting ravaged by a wild grizzly bear.
