The last time Broner managed to cut weight down to 140 lbs, he appeared very old and sluggish. He had lost a lot of hand to eye coordination/speed and stamina.

Moreover he lacked power and energy; But more importantly, almost too weak and fatigued to have been even remotely close of being competitive in the ring at that weight class.

It pains me to say this but one can stick a fork in Adrien Broner because he is done at the elite level. He can no longer make 140 healthy anymore due to his old lifestyle patterns and fast living habits.

Likewise, the 147 lbs division just so happens to be a bit too large for him as well. All of his years of partying by not staying focused on his physical health and professional career have now come back to haunt him and has also taken a huge toll on his deteriorating body in the process.

Omar is going to be tougher than Granados, and that was a very close fight. If Broner loses this one, I don't see where he goes from here. I'm expecting he may get a gift from the judges on this one in an effort to preserve what is left of his career and marketability. Prediction: Omar dominates but gets robbed.

Broner has the physical gifts to be a top fighter, but he is mentally weak in too many ways, inside and outside the ring. If he doesn't beat Omar, he will be a gatekeeper and nothing more. It will no longer be "about billions," but "about thousands."

Broner and Figueroa have unfinished business from their days at lightweight. Figeroua was Broner’s mandatory when Adrien made the jump to 47 to fight Paulie. Folks like me think that had Broner stayed at 35 a little longer, his career might have turned out a little differently in a positive direction.

As for the fight itself. I think Broner is the more skilled of the two. And had the fight taken place back in their lightweight days. I think it would have been a showcase for Broner and he would have destroyed Figeroua. But now. It seems like Broner is trending down and Figeroua is trending up. I’m not necessarily rooting against Broner. But I kinda just want him to go away. And I have a feeling this may end up being the final nail in the coffin of what has been a borderline disgraceful ride as a relevant prizefighter for Broner.

                Broners same song

                "...I'm gonna f*** Paulie up..."

                "...I'm gonna f*** Maidana up..."

                "...I'm gonna f*** Shawn up..."

                "...I'm gonna f*** Mikey up..."

The only thing that Broner f***s up is his career.

Here we go again with the same ol' **** from this a**hat.

Broner is one Mexican away from being a gatekeeper/stepping stone.

Please Omar...spark this coon and end this bulls**t show.

Talented, but mentally weak. Hasn't looked the same since the Maidana fight

I think Broner has shown us all that he will fold if enough pressure is applied. I have no hopes of him getting back to world level.

Broner is a much better bragger than he is a fighter. He makes this same type of speech before every fight and three times he got his ass kicked. He might beat Figueroa because he may not be that good. His claim to fame is slaughtering a shot Guerrero. He will never beat Mikey or Porter because they are better fighters than he is and always will be. Broner seems worse now than he was when Maidana beat him.
