Arrogant is not the right word, but boxingscene thinks the right word is a swearword, LOL. The original word was cöcky.

Of course he didn't say it was a premature stoppage. The ref made sure he couldn't.

thats why they fight the fights. And dorticos got ko'd. The hypotheticals about if the stars align correctly are in your mind. The reality is the two warriors fought and one got broke down and ko'd

All these things are relevant in this game. Gassiev at 24 fought a much smarter fight than the 31 year old, arrogant Dorticos did. I don’t see him beating Gassiev.

Great fight ! Lot of respect for both.

Yes... he is an arrogant arsehole, unintelligent man, but saying that he cant Gassiev is false. Let not forget that the only reason he was knocked was because he tired himself out. So the lost was more as a result of his action than what Gassiev. Going into the 9th round, he was up. So based off the 1-8 rounds I think he can beat him. The intelligence that you ascribed to Gassiev was Abel's intelligence not Gassiev,..

Ps, you have respect for Gassiev not Dorticos, lets be honest about that at least

Dorticos had never been past 10 rounds before so yeah Gassiev had the right gameplan.
Thank you so much so much... What a logical sensible response to ******ity here.

Thanks for proving my point you fking idiot... There was no disparity in skills. Had they went toe to toe, Dorticos would have knocked him out.. But because Abel (not Gassiev) was a way of his stamina, made a game plan that took advantage of it.. Gassiev would have gotten knocked because that style favor Dorticos..

no you are the ******. dorticos was punching like an idiot looking like he was swimming. missing wildly in 12 rds HE DIDNT EVEN MESS UP GASSIEVS HAIR YOU ****** PHUCK. dorticos marched forward throwing the same punches left right then a left hook missing by feet. HE NEVER HURT GASSIEV so how would he KO him with wild punches? when gassiev stopped to punch they were hard accurate punches in combo. and none of the experts even mention the amount of body shots gassiev landed which had more to do with him gassing out. dorticos WAS in shape to take that

I thought Dorticos showed good stamina, especially for a guy who’s never been past the tenth round before. Trouble was, Gassiev was hitting him with everything but the kitchen sink in the last few rounds. Tough to maintain endurance when you’re absorbing that kind of punishment. I don’t care how well-conditioned you are.

Both men are skilled boxers, but Murat has a more diverse arsenal. And he kept catching Yunier with the same combos repeatedly. Who’s fault is that? I don’t know what Dorticos’s corner was telling him, or what they prepared him for in training, but the failure to adjust is ultimately what did Yunier in. Frankly, I blame the trainer, and, to a lesser extent, the fighter.

Once again, hats off to Murat Gassiev, a beastly, classy champion.
