I usually attended a couple fights a year. And I literally never even notice the ring card girls. I think the concept is extremely dated and pretty pointless on today’s age. There’s literally dozens of scoreboards in every arena that shows the round and time clock. 100yrs ago when there were no digital scoreboards in most of these outdoor venues where boxing took place, having a round indicator made sense. Ironically, back then it was usually men that served as round indicators.

Not all venues. I went to the Brook Spence fight last year and there wasn't anything that showed the rounds apart from the ring card girls.

Good point. Plus, the media / establishment / society in general pushes for females to be able to wear whatever they want in public no matter how slutty it is and how revealing it is, but god forbid the hot chicks make money off of it.

Females are naturally competitive with one another, so the fatties are always trying to get a leg up on the hot ones and throw a wrench in their way. Never met a feminist that wasn't either a dyke, fat, ugly, a f4g, poor self-esteem or in a sexually non-satisfying relationship.

DESPITE THE FACT that darts and Formula One have elected to play to the politically correct gallery, I, for one, certainly have no intention of handing the ring girls their cards. The two sports ditching a dash of glamour has definitely played well with the PC brigade and, truth be told, the scantily clad girls did not have much of a role to play in either of these activities.

I think the ringcard girls are ****** but that's in and of itself not because of any gender politics surrounding sexism. The ones suffering mostly from their removal is really themselves because looking pretty and holding up a number is a pretty cushy job to have. There's no stigma attached to it either unlike if they were say strippers.
