If it's gonna be an elderly opponent maybe they will go with Billy Wright. He's on a 20 year winning streak and they can both come in at 300lbs and break a world record/the ring.

No need to rush the Gypsy King, these are a couple of fun tune up fights, then he’ll be ready for the big dogs, people just need to relax

Make it Shannon the (loose) Cannon. Please. That press conference will be ppv material alone.

This didn’t surprise me at all, and proves how far removed he is from where he was prior to fighting Klitschko. When was he last time a world class fighter, possibly THE world class fighter in his division just flat out stopped training, put on that much weight during his time away and actually came back as effective? Closest situations I can think of are Ricky Hatton and James Jeffries, and both of those ended the same way. But are there any where the fighter was actually successful? I suppose the one thing he has going for him that these guys didn’t is that he’s still young.

Fury needs his license withdrawn, he is showing clear signs of some mental disorder, wasn't he mouthing off on social media on how without a tune up fight he would wipe out the division? He even boasted of beating AJ and Birdlegs, lawd have mercy. Fury is still a man-child and only uncle Peter can knock him into place. For f u c k sake, Tavern? Shannon? A lineal champ of just 29 years? This simply shows how low fury has fallen...darn pity!

So these won’t be your comeback fights? Because 2 nearly 50 year olds who are inactive are just that—comeback fights. Do you have 2 fights then fight these guys? Do you fight an even bigger tomato can and then go onto Joshua and THEN fight these guys? This makes no sense. Someone may be talking sense into him by telling him he needs 4 fights and 2 years to be where he should be again to fight AJ. I just don’t know if he, his stamina, the joints in his knees—probably a lot more things, will be the same after lugging nearly 400 pounds around for the past 2 and a half years on a 6’9 frame. The new trainer is a pretty scary idear as well, as he hasn’t guided him to titles like his uncle.
