has lomachenko been too good for his own good?

The way in which he dismantled russell, walters and rigondeaux has relegated them to bum status. Ive never known a fighters reputation fall so quick as rigondeauxs, its amazing to believe he was a p4p top 5 fighter on many lists the way hes spoke about now and the way that win has been completely dismissed.
Would lomachenko have been better off having more competitive fights so the fighters he beat would be considered world class still and world class wins? Rather than people shrugging off them as fighters who got exposed?

It means Loma's opponents can jack up their fight purse demands. Loma's a hot ticket item but he's also in need of a dance partner so opponents can negotiate above their usual paycheck.

Rigondeaux moved up 2 divisions. How good would any of the P4P fighters look moving up 2 divisions and fighting another P4P fighter?

Loma wants to "marinate" the Garcia fight though.

I think it's impossible for a boxer to be too good. Loma being so good recently got him lots of positive attention and a ranking by many places as the best pound for pound boxer in the world. These are good things that make him better known, more in demand and in the end more money. Losing or winning but looking bad are bad things. Winning and looking great are good things.

it wasn't just beating rigondeaux, but he made rigondeaux look like a complete amateur. He completely outclasses his opponents.
