I am genuinely concerned for Price’s safety, particularly as Povetkin can really **** and certainly seems to relish administering a knock out punch. I think Price has just been lined up as a no-threat stooge. This will be a massacre.

Take a look at Povetkin's previous fights... all against taller fighters who were all leading up to a rematch with Wlad.
Even though Povetkin is older now, he is in far better shape than he was before, particularly as his coach, Ivan Kirpa essentially told him he was too fat and needed to stay in shape, (after Huck).
Guys like Wach, Takam and others all have the ability to take solid punches.
And as we know... AJ does not and Wilder got outboxed by a smaller polish guy.

Alexander Povetkin is not a REAL heavyweight. He is a FAKE heavyweight with extra / additional body weight mostly consisting of fat. If he got rid of the unnecessary weight, he would most likely be a light heavyweight or maximum a cruiser weight.
Povetkin competing at heavyweight is like Andre Ward or Sergey Kovalev fighting at heavyweight with 30 extra pounds of body fat. Povetkin was only able to be competitive at heavyweight, even though he was a FAKE heavyweight with extra unnecessary body fat because of performance enhancing drugs which artificially gave him the attributes of a REAL heavyweight. Without them, he is just a blown up light heavyweight begging to be brutally knocked out.
Alexander Povetkin's fist size, his frame size, his hands size, his finger size and his overall body size is that of a natural cruiser weight / light heavyweight and not that of a REAL heavyweight like a Klitschko, Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury or a Lennox Lewis.
Alexander Povetkin never was and never will be a REAL heavyweight like Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury. He will always remain irrelevant when compared to REAL heavyweights like Joshua or Fury.
Against Real heavyweights like Anthony Joshua and David Price that are fully committed and motivated, Povetkin has almost 0 chance of winning. And it's a mismatch to pit a FAKE heavyweight like Povetkin against such REAL heavyweights.
This is a REAL heavyweight:
Whilst this is a FAKE heavyweight that happens to be a blown up light heavyweight / cruiser weight:
The size difference is clearly apparent!
Now let's compare two REAL and NATURAL heavyweights side by side:
Now let's compare a REAL heavyweight right next to a FAKE and UNNATURAL heavyweight:
Alexander Povetkin is like an irrelevant insect in front of REAL and NATURAL heavyweights like Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko. Both Joshua and Klitschko can practically swat a fake heavyweight like Alexander Povetkin away as if he was a fly or an irrelevant insect in comparison.
A NATURAL Alexander Povetkin has no business competing in the heavyweight division.
There is a reason why Wladimir Klitschko was able to TOTALLY manhandle Povetkin like he was a rag doll which Povetkin could never answer to or make adjustments to but the same Klitschko was unable to use the same tactics against Anthony Joshua. Because Joshua is a REAL and NATURAL heavyweight whilst Povetkin is a FAKE heavyweight that happens to be a blown up light heavyweight / cruiser weight.

The days for 6 foot 4 - minus heavyweights are now over. They don't exist and any that does exist and is having success at the top level has to be consuming some kind of performance enhancing drugs to make up for their lack of size. Without performance enhancing drugs, the likes of Alexander Povetkin or David Haye are nothing more than light heavyweights / cruiser weights who simply can't possibly or humanely compete at the top level of the heavyweight division.
