I think Povetkin is far too small and weak to be anything more than a minor nuisance to big heavyweights like Anthony Joshua or even a David Price that is fully motivated and committed.
He has the size to do what Wlad did and just force Povetkin to deadlift him all night then collapse from exhaustion, but I don't think he has the patience.
On the other hand Povetkin is almost 40 now and his career hasn't been easy... He took the hard road while US/UK fighters got blown up after one crappy win. He could become a shot fighter at any time.
Yeah, there does seem to be a blueprint he could attempt to follow, but it will take a ton of energy. It's hard to see
I will say that I was very surprised that Povetkin was as neutralized as he was and didn't seem to work harder to get out of those clinches
Price might knock himself out before the fight if he gets an itch on his chin and try to scratch it
It started when he was a young boy he fell off his bike and his dear old mummy put a plaster on his chin which put his lights out he was done for a good few minutes.

You are obviously mistaken.
Take a look at Povetkin's previous fights... all against taller fighters who were all leading up to a rematch with Wlad.
Even though Povetkin is older now, he is in far better shape than he was before, particularly as his coach, Ivan Kirpa essentially told him he was too fat and needed to stay in shape, (after Huck).
Guys like Wach, Takam and others all have the ability to take solid punches.
And as we know... AJ does not and Wilder got outboxed by a smaller polish guy.
