Comments Thread For: Wilder: Parker Must Knock Out Joshua, Can't Win Decision in UK

Read what I actually said, I was making a point by agreeing with Wilder that Parker needs a stoppage he won't get a points victory not that he would every round. You Joshua supporters are as bad as Khan supporters if people don't cry Joshua is the messiah of boxing you melt like snowflakes by saying I know nothing of the fight game, as if you are an expert yourself. None of us are experts and are entitled to our own opinions, if you don't like my opinion it's just tough snowflake. This is such a bull **** statement from someone who apparently has no clue about the fight game. If Parker won EVERY ROUND? ODLH is the biggest crook in Boxing since Don King. GGG beat red 8-4 yet it was a draw. I have never seen any other boxing promoter skew the game like Oscar. Hearn is a good promoter and I think clowns that disparage him don't have much of a personal life and need to pick successful people apart. Parker will not hear the final bell. Why? AJ is too good and HE SUCKS.Comment

I'd argue they are all as bad as each other... in fact honestly i'd say the US is still worse considering the UK seems to be full of early stoppages whereas the US is largely very suspect judging.
The UK does seem to be getting worse though, but personally think that is more down to recent events in the last few years where boxers have been in career ending fights... fights that if stopped earlier may not have resulted in such loss. That Groves fight especially has led to referees in the UK being overprotective of fighters that are getting hit and not throwing back; even if they are tough, resilient guys.Comment

This.I think Wilder is right here, the issue here is AJ is just too big commercial-wise, winning a decision against him here would be tough to be honest, especially if it was closer than normal. We tend to get hometown decisions over here but am telling you now that AJ would probably have to be KO for anyone to beat him over here. Am sure if Parker outbox him wide he would win but if the fight is closer then AJ would get the W.
No one will beat AJ here unless it is blatantly obvious. AJ needs to be stopped or totally cleaned out.
Look at the Takam fight...that was going to the cards, but oh no, let’s keep AJ’s 100% KO record on paper in tact. He’s become the establishment here.Comment

This is true .
I have AJ winning this anyway, but man the UK is one of the worst for judging - as if Hearn is going to let his cash cow be beaten by some no-name from New Zealand with a promoter who is has a net worth of a chicken shed.
Parker could dominate 10 of 12 rounds and would be the luckiest man on Earth to get a drawComment

Parker IS the luckiest man on earth getting judges to give him the nod vs Takam , Ruiz AND Hughie in the U.K just winning on aggression but getting hit more doe ?This is true .
