Mayweather will never put himself at a disadvantage by fighting a top UFC fighter his weight under UFC rules. He loves money but he also loves being undefeated. I would suspect a fixed fight if he ever fought a top UFC fighter under UFC rules.

Boliodogs - So even in a MMA match you already have a built in excuse for a Floyd win? Why would Dana make it okay for Floyd to fix an Octagon fight given how bad MMA looked coming out of the 2nd biggest PPV ever? Good news is Floyd is sonning the He!! out of Oscar. Hopefully this is about Dana coming into boxing to help bulldoze the old guard stinking up the sport.

Dana White wants to get into Boxing. Whats wrong with Mayweather Promotions getting into MMA? They can combine both combine companies, and become a behemoth (because eventually MMA will have individual promoters, ps (he can make this happen) which will actually help his and mayweather's company.

The only way Floyd can make legit money in MMA without totally getting embarrassed is if doesn't fight somebody with any takedown or low kick knowledge. He should challenge Pac to a cage fight or some other celebrity.

Pac is an espn fighter....nobody wants to see him anymore.

At this point I wouldn't put anything past him, not being in the limelight sort of fk's with him. Just hope if he does he doesn't injure himself in a life altering way.

LOL...If Floyd steps into the octagon it will be a glorified sparring session just like the Mcgregor boxing fight was. Expect in this case, the MMA guy will go easy on him or just get the quick takedown and submission.

I imagine it will play out like this. Floyd keeps his opponent at bay for a round, maybe two, with his jab and footwork. Then eventually his opponent will get the takedown and score the quick submission. It will "seem" competitve while their standing, but the takedown and Floyd's quick tap out is the inevitable conclusion.

Now... Manny vs Floyd in the octagon is interesting, because neither guy has a ground game, they would just be boxing in small gloves but also be allowed to use elbows and get in close...THAT is a good fight lol... Oddly, I think I would favor Manny in a MMA fight... his powerful legs will be an advantage.
