Wat top HW wouldn't want to fight Ortiz rt now....He is old, slow as molasses, and stiff in his movement .... almost falling over his own feet when moving forward attempting to land a punch. Has not looked at all like a dangerous top HW since Jennings fight ...easy ko for Bumsquad as expected.

It’s all the same for every fighter. Years ago the Dallas Morning news had a Sports writer that called Cassius Clay “gaseous Cassius “!!!

Little did he know he would rule the boxing world !!!

But ! He had to do it one fight after another and nothing was given to him!!

Same with Wilder ! He MUST keep winning in great fashion by KO’s!!! Same with GGG!!! It’s make it or break it with these two!! Losing is NOT an option!!

By the way Ali made the path for big money for all fighters . Mayweather wouldn’t make a pimple on Cassius Clays ass !

Taking blood pressure medication from an 80 year old man doesn't necessarily make you a warrior.

Ortiz is a fleshy, middle aged cuban with a resume that is as mediocre as wilders. And he is years past his best. These are facts not excuses.

“If nobody don’t give me no credit on that, then that’s gonna be they sad life,” Wilder told BoxingScene.com recently.

Awesome sentence by wilder lol haha This guy keeps me laughing out loud with his interviews... With that said he has to win first before he claims not getting credit for winning lol I believe he'll get the KO but he better stay focus on the task at hand.

Wilder had plenty of chances to fight and beat a top opponent like that, such as Vitali and Vladimir Klitschko, but Wilder ducked them for years and waited until one retired before conveniently becoming mandatory for the vacated title only right after Klitschko retired. Before then, Al steered him clear of the mandatory position because it would have meant a fight with Klitschko, which they obviously didn't want. I'm sorry, but beating past prime, past-PEDs Luis Ortiz is not going to erase years and years of ducking actual top competition.

                January 30, 2018:

Oleksandr Usyk may have unfinished business in the cruiserweight division but he is already talking about fighting Anthony Joshua...

"I will move up to heavyweight and show them all how good I am," Usyk told Sky Sports.

"I think you can see yourself, I will fight him [Joshua]. Not yet though. But it is a question everybody keeps asking me, so once we go face to face, we will find out. It will be good..."

Usyk has said he will not pile on the pounds to become a heavyweight, aiming for 220lbs.

Smaller men can be the Real Deal at heavyweight

Evander Holyfield, known at The Real Deal, won a bronze light-heavyweight medal at the 1984 Olympics before turning professional a year later.

In 1986, he then won the WBA world cruiserweight title and within two years captured the other two [IBF and WBC] belts. On becoming undisputed world cruiserweight champion in 1988, Holyfield quit the division to pursue a fight against world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.

He weighed 202 pounds for his first heavyweight fight and was eight pounds heavier two years later when he knocked out James 'Buster' Douglas, who beat Tyson for the belts, to become undisputed world heavyweight champion in 1990.

Usyk has already beat Holyfield's record for being the quickest to become a world cruiserweight champion. Holyfield did it in his professional 12th fight, while Usyk managed it in his 10th.

"In the beginning, somebody told me there was a record in the cruiserweight division where Evander Holyfield became the champion," Usyk said in April last year.

"I thought about that and I told my team, 'let's make our own history, our own record, to beat Holyfield's record.' That was the plan and no, I was not surprised. I was very happy. I prepared for that championship bout.."

                Fighting for a cause

Usyk also has the charisma, personality and a fascinating backstory to make it interesting in the heavyweight division.

The father-of-three is from Crimea, a region annexed by Russia in 2014 a year after Usyk turned professional.

Usyk's home city is Simferopol but, with the Crimean peninsula's status disputed between Russia and Ukraine, he now lives in Kiev.

In 2014, he declared he would never accept Russian citizenship and in October he visited Ukrainian guards on the eastern border.

Props to Usyk for stepping up to the challenge! That's what real champions do!

Until he does it all that is, is talk. He don’t get props for something he hasn’t done yet. Anyone can talk like that. Don’t talk about it do it

                  So yeah, no.
You didn't answer the question! What was Wlad's career-defining win? When you think of the era: Roy Jones Jr., Oscar, Tito Trinidad, B-Hop, Mayweather, Cotto, and Pacquiao, you think of BIG fights! When I think of Wlad, I just know he was undefeated for a long time, but who the **** did he beat?

Wilder is right. Because it's his fault that Luis Ortiz failed so many drug test over the years and now that he's finally cleaned up and could finally fight he's older that's all Wilders fault. Sorry but don't you remember Wilder paid Stiverne so he could fight Ortiz earlier. And like normal protocol except for ortiz because he forgot to list his medication he failed again. Also Wilders fault. The point I am making is the boxing world hasn't been fair to Wilder. You have been able to fight these guys because of their problem taking banned substances. If nobody ever failed a test against Wilder there be no doubt he would be number one on most peoples charts. He didn't duck anybody. He fought his mandatorys and even tried to buy off a mandatory to give people the fight they want sorry for the failed testing.

You mention his record, but you don't mention any names! There's no Tyson, Ruddock, Carl "The Truth" Williams, Bowe, Holyfield, or Lennox Lewis on his resume! What was his signature win?
