Deals are not made in public. They're made in private.

AJ vs. Wilder not happening next has nothing to do with the financial split. It has everything to do with Parker being an easier fight. It's common sense. You save the tougher fight for later.

AJ vs. Wilder will likely happen late this year, unless HBO throws a bunch of money at Hearn to bring all of his fighters exclusively to HBO.

But the split won't be what makes or breaks this fight. AJ's team will say 70/30 in the press, Wilder will say 50/50 in the press, and the fight will get made at 60/40. That's how this works.
Ok. Just make sure Deontay doesn't get knocked out against Ortiz.

    That would really suck.

He should be applauded for facing the biggest available threat. He could easily be knocked out.

AJ, Wilder, Ortiz and Parker are the top four heavyweights in the world and should all be applauded for fighting each other. AJ as the #1 deserves to face #4 in the "first round" and the winner of #1 and #4 will hopefully face the winner of #2 and #3 later this year for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world.

Undefeated WBC World Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder has convinced himself that Anthony Joshua is "terrified" of fighting him.

        FIFY...you're welcome !

Wiulder should in public claim he wants 25% that way the public would believe he wants fight.
Fights aren't made in public. In private he should ask four 40% or 35%

novel idea, but not sure how much experience you have negotiating multi million dollar deals. you need to go in with the strongest front possible.

agree publicly to 25% and hearn will leak a contract to the press the next day offering 25% and demand that you sign it.

            it would backfire big time.

Maybe, but wilder saying josh is scared then demanding 50% seems contradictoiry

We both know AJ isn't scared. Wilder knows AJ isn't scared. He's trying to hype the fight and maintain a strong position. He can't waver from 50/50 right now because when real negotiations begin, Hearn will come in at 70/30, they'll grind it out for a few weeks and eventually meet at 60/40. A negotiation is a dance in a lot of ways.

Sky is showing Wilder's fight. Wilder will be at AJ's fight. Clearly the seeds are being planted for a major showdown at the end of the year.

"No gladiator in time ever just had that 'oh I'm so humble'...they had a warrior's mentality."

Being a warrior and being a loudmouth is not synonymous. Nor are being humble and being are warrior mutually exclusive. I wonder if Wilder has ever heard of: Joe Louis, Joe Frazier, Jersey Joe Walcott, Alexis Arguello, Finito Lopez, Sergio Martinez, Shane Mosely and others.
