Comments Thread For: Hearn Says Fury Signing With Warren Complicates Joshua Deal

Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs), admits that if Tyson Fury signs a promotional deal with Frank Warren - it will complicate a potential deal for a Joshua fight in the future. Hearn expects Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) to work with Warren, who is putting together the undefeated boxer's next fight on a date in April.

This was my original thought as well when I first heard the rumors. Why would Fury intentionally sign with someone who doesn't get along with Joshuas promoter?
My theory now is that Fury wants Warren to represent him against Hearn in negotiations. Now whether that's a good idea or not is up for debate but that's where I think Furys' head is at.

Haha you obviously don't know what you're talking about.

BT Sports has cross platform infrastructure in the UK and Warren is one of the Greatest Promoters of all time.

Sky are the real promoters of Joshua and other Matchroom fighters. Hearn is clueless otherwise, look at the terrible ratings and live crowd Hearn got for Danny Jacobs without Sky Backing.

So they strip Fury off of Ring belt, in that case fat gypsy is useless for any promoter. He can't even ask for good split against Joshua without that belt.

3 or 4 million in his comeback fight Hearn said he should be paid? I wonder if Warren would offer that? I don't think anyone cares about the f**king ring magazine title. He vacated 3 world titles & hasn't fought in over 2 years so who cares about the Ring title?

Don King has his own channel and a deal with a major sports network?
