Lou is right on this one, if 100 people scored the fight, 90 of them would have Golovkin winning.

Not one of them would have Canelo winning 10 rounds like Adelaide Byrd had it, what was she watching? Canelo can’t win rounds going backwards and landing less punches, especially since GGG is the champion. Canelo needs to take those titles and fight, not be handed them by bad judging

And if Canelo wants to engage more to go for a KO he will get knocked on his ass. The only thing that saved him in the first fight is that he was fading back or retreating when GGG caught him. The power is so much more when you get hit moving forward than backward. Of course, Canelo fans (you know the ones that call everybody casuals) have NEVER put on gloves and headgear and experienced it for themselves. GGG won in the real world 8 rounds to 4. That's a big disparity.
here's the thing though, when canelo did open up and exchange with ggg, canelo was the one getting the better out of those exchanges. so in the rematch, i feel canelo is gonna be more comfortable and more confidence and will sit more on his punches now. canelo decision or late tko in the rematch and i was rooting for ggg in the first fight.

Every time there is a GGG article, this clown Shadow702 comes out of the Shadows. He is so obsessed with GGG hate, sounds like an Andre Ward alt Account. GGG is the champion, was pressing the action all 12 rounds and landed more punches in 10 out of 12 rounds, those are all facts.

And he walked right through Canelos Best shots, so don’t give that BS excuse that Canelo landed the harder punches, GGG kept coming forward as Canelo was in survival mode. GGG had the real Mexican Style while Canelo got booed by his own Mexican fans after the fight by running all night long

No one is wasting their time to rewarch the fight again and give you a score card rbr. That being said the first 2/3 of 3 went to canelo one somewhere in the middle and the last round or last 2 rounds tops. 7-5 For guy was what I kind of had. One good exchange for canelo doesn't erase the constant pressure, jabs and overall ring generalship ggg did each round. Boxing isn't judged based on the best 30 seconds in each round. GGG outlanded canelo in most rounds and controlled the ring in most rounds and was the aggressor in all the rounds.

You have a brand new account??? Yet popp off at the mouth like a champ. So you definetly are an alt.

Canelo was in survival mode??? What ever CJ Ross jr.

You gonna take GGG by TKO in the rematch???

Are you taking Canelo by KO in the rematch since you brought it up. What did you predicted for the first fight.

Let's see your score card I don't recall seeing it.

It's good that this has become such a hot button debate over the first fight, people are eager to see this happen again.

-and when you consider the first fight was 3 weeks after millions shelled out cash to watch Mayweather vs. McGregor, I think this rematch is going to be a significantly bigger fight with a lot more eyeballs watching.

I think Golovkin won the first fight. Canelo has faster hands without question and when he connected it looked pretty.
But he also landed shots on GGG that we've all seen KO other guys, and Golovkin ate them and continued to press. Golovkin's uglier (but effective) jabs and straights, paired with him controlling where they were in the ring for the vast majority of the fight with his pressure... that's how I saw it originally and still saw it after a repeat viewing.

Canelo has a chin though, him and GGG both proved a lot in that fight.

With 12 rounds in the books though it's really hard to predict how they're each going to start round 1 in the rematch.
I could see another 12 round struggle for sure, but I could also see the pendulum swinging wildly in one or the other's favor for a lot of reasons (like RJJ vs. Tarver 2 or something).
