So which 4 rounds were you kind enough to gift Canelo with??? And out of those 8 rounds did GGG CLEARLY win them??? Or did you just say it was too close and gave them to GGG because that was who you rooted for.

For what I favor in a prizefight, I could score it 8-4 Canelo if I give him all the swing rounds. But 6-6 or 7-5 either way is the logical scoring.

I know I’m in the minority. But I think GGG got a lot of credit simply because Canelo was going backwards. Most of the clean effective punching was done by Canelo.
Yeah but he landed a clean shot about once or twice around. No doubt Canelo did the cleaner work but for me those shots were few and far between.

Thats the problem though, Canelo only has to land one clean combination and the judges give him the round.

If you're going to pot shot your way to victory, you should at least be controlling the distance and the pace of the fight, à la Mayweather. But Canelo wasn't in control at all.

Yup! And anyone that says either one CLEARLY won 8 rounds needs to be slapped. There was many CLOSE rounds that could of went either way... I scored it 7-5 for GGG but can see 7-5 the other way because I gave 2 close rounds to GGG for really no reason. It was basically a coin toss.

            MOST everyone can agree.

Canelo won majority of the early and late rounds whilt GGG dominated the middle ones while Canelo was taking a breather for the late rounds

Controlling the rounds doesnt count if ypu cant hit the back side of a barn. GGG missed over 500 punches which is freaking INSANE amount.

If GGG clearly won the fight there would be no need for a rematch. We have a rematch because the fight was a draw. Neither one clearly won or even hurt the other guy. These are unemotional facts.

It was a draw because of the judges, not the fighters.

Pretty much everyone agrees that GGG won the fight, except a very small handful of people but it is what it is...

It was close and deserves a rematch. We were always going to get a rematch anyway if it was anyway remotely close, too much money in it.

one could say Danny Jacobs equally deserves a rematch but the $$$ isn't there to make it a priority.

The ppl who are saying GGG won the fight didnt score it by rounds. And just the overall fight.

Which rounds did you give Canelo?? If you even gave him any...

This is the problem I have with GGG fans. I ask for their scorecard and its usually fair. But then I ask why they scored the close rounds for GGG they cant really give me a strIght answer.
