And here's where the blind deaf and dumb Canelo fans start yapping about how he is going to shut out, beat badly or KO GGG. Dibella is right on the money. And if Canelo wants to engage more to go for a KO he will get knocked on his ass. The only thing that saved him in the first fight is that he was fading back or retreating when GGG caught him. The power is so much more when you get hit moving forward than backward. Of course, Canelo fans (you know the ones that call everybody casuals) have NEVER put on gloves and headgear and experienced it for themselves. GGG won in the real world 8 rounds to 4. That's a big disparity.

The rounds I scored for GGG, I scored them for him because his pressure overwhelmed Canelo to the point where Saul couldn’t mount hardly any offense. The fact is, GGG didn’t land many meaningful shots. If it wasn’t GGG, folks would have called the majority of the offense he mounted pity-pay shots.

Ok if they were harder how come Golovkin stood his ground but when Golovkin hit Canelo, Canelo moved out of the center of the ring.

Canelo was moving from the opening bell. It’s not like he came out standing in a phone booth, got clocked, then got on his bicycle.

GGG has a helluva chin. But I was actually more impressed with how he took as many hard body shots, and kept coming. But to say he landed the harder shots would be inaccurate. A good portion of GGG’s offense amounted to pity-pat shots while he had Canelo on the ropes. And when he did land big shots. They didn’t have much visual affect on Canelo.

There were a couple of times that he hurt Canelo. Once in the 10th round and definitely in the 11th on the ropes. He caught him with a couple of punches and Canelo started bouncing up and down to recover his legs. Here's the thing. Golovkin didn't have to throw hard shots on the ropes because there wasn't a lot coming back from Canelo. Meanwhile the clock is ticking and the rounds we're winding down. By the end Golovkin had controlled most of the round and Canelo hadn't done enough to close the gap. To me it seemed obvious what was happening. Even Canelo's corner was telling him to get off the ropes. He got outboxed by Golovkin.
