Thurman already beat them both so they should fight each other.

Garcia also believes he beat Herrera.

What were the scorecards again for this fight?

When Thurman makes his return, he'll be fighting a top-ranked fighter.
Garcia, on the other hand, is fighting Mike friggin Alvarado leftovers.

Manny fought Rios for a bogus WBO International WW title and then fought Bradley for the WBO title for beating Rios. So how is that different?
Correct, but wasn't that after the first Rios/Alvarado fight?
After that, Rios took a nose dive with 2 losses to Alvarado and a loss to Bradley.

correction: Pac fought Rios after the 2nd Rios/Alvarado fight, with Rios coming off a loss.
ugh... correction #2: Rios won the rubber match vs Alvarado. I'm on a crap streak here.

D.garcia is way late on past losses, he should concentrate on what's left of him.

Garcia lost a SPLIT DECISION iF one judge gives Garcia a close round Then we have a different conversation
I like Thurman, but he's just keeping the belt warm for Spence. Thurman should go for Crawford, before he gets acclimated to the WW division. Its a more winnable fight... Then move up to 154 and wait for spence there. Cause he will need the extra weight to absorb Spence Jr's punches.

The fight wouldn't have been close if Run Time didn't spend the entire second half of the fight backpedaling.

True. But after he ate a couple body shots, maybe he did the right thing by moving so much.

Damn near every fighter thinks they won when they lose a fairly close fight so why would Garcia be any different? Why trash Garcia for speaking his mind? Most fans think Thurman clearly won and that is all Thurman should care about. Porter thought he beat Thurman as well even though most viewers thought Thurman won. Boxers tend to award themselves close rounds and close fights and that is just the way it is.

judge Jerry Roth scored the last round for mayweather, the only judge to do so. had he scored the 12th for De La Hoya, the fight would have been a draw.

one judge changed the trajectory of floyds career. a draw would've obligated floyd to the rematch in september 2008 and ruin his unblemished record. oscar in 2015 said floyds "retirement" was a loophole to not do a rematch since he said their fight in 2007 had a rematch clause.
