Garcia lost but Thurman's tactics in the second half of the fight made his win less convincing than it could have been.The KO's ended for "One Time" once the competition got better.

The fact is, Thurman carried Garcia for the last quarter of that fight. It's just like in American football. When a team is up by a huge substantial margin late in the ball game; Often times, the Head coach occasionally instructs the offensive coordinator to close the playbook and stop calling plays.

That's the same thing happened with Keith Thurman. One time knew he was up huge on the scorecards and didn't want to risk being overly aggressive and reckless to the point of getting caught with a KO punch late by giving Danny a puncher's chance. Therefore, he decided to just shut it down by playing a prevent defense in the last three rounds of the fight, by taking his foot off the gas pedal.
