Several factors involved.

1) He Stepped up in weight
2) He was in his prime then
3) Other fighters were weary about power and were naturally more defensive, some just tried to survived rather than win.
4) He fought guys with great chins who were naturally much bigger than him, some out weighting him in the ring by over a stone.



The Margarito fight was the last fight when we saw a prime Pacquiao.
