    its so funny

whenever someone would bash golovkins resume before the jacobs and canelo fights his superfans would say "well golovkin is a young 33...hes taken no damage so he will have many years ahead of him...he still has plenty of time so lets not write him off before we are finished determining who he is"

now they want to throw out old and past his prime....lol...because they realize an L is inevitable and hes just not that good once he stepped up

his jab is legit and he comes to fight.

i dont blame him for his piss poor line up prior to dj but im not going to him either. hes not as good as his loony fans think he is.
Well again - depends what you're looking for... is he some kind of ATG? No. But talking as if he's just some **** average guy with a good jab is probably underselling him a little too.

he looked less than dominant when he stepped up. you can tell he has much to be desired by the way his fan boys dress him up.

            fan boys always exaggerate.

            loving eyes and whatnot.

Is that what they'll say, you think, when the dust settles on Golovkin's career?

I think that would be a slightly unfair epitaph, but time will tell.

The judges forgot to score 10-8 in the third and 11th round when he knocked Canelo down. In the 7th round Canelo only threw 2 scoring punches that had no effect and Golovkin landed 5 hard clean shots. The judges incorrectly gave Canelo a 10-7 round. In a side note the hookers that were caught in the judges room's prefight were previously seen being escorted through the hotel lobby by members of Oscar's security.

Sugar Ray Leonard was losing to Terry Norris at 35

Marvin Hagler was retired by 33

Oscar De La Hoya was getting embarrassed by a much smaller Manny Pacquiao at 35

Tito Trinidad was getting beat down by a shot Roy Jones at 35

Larry Holmes was losing to Michael Spinks at 35.

So, PLEASE tell me how EVERYBODY's so much better at 35, than they were at 28.

                    ****ing ridiculous
It is ridiculous. Some fighters switch over to a spoiling style. Grabbing clinching etc. to offset their decline. A guy at 35 physically is on the downside. No question..

Lewis & Wladimir did the same thing with Emmanuel Steward hiring him after they got KO'd. It took them years to learn from Steward to become their absolute best as fighters.
So becoming a smarter fighter means prime? Clear YOU don't understand the difference between what prime is and what knowledge means. Prime and experience have nothing to do with each other in terms of physical peaks. What good is it to learn to throw a curve ball or a jab when you arm isn't as strong or when you can only throw ten of them before you have to stop? So if I hired Sanchez when i'm 50 and he teaches me the proper way to throw a hook that means I am suddenly in my prime?
