Funny how Arum first mentions that he will talk to Mr. Honda, Linares lead promoter instead of Oscar and GB. We all know that GB and Oscar will be demanding for a 50/50 split which Arum will never agree to. I know Linares made 250k when GB promoted his fight against Campbell as the main event at the Forum. Wonder what he made in his last fight as an under card fight? We know for sure he isn't getting no 50/50 from Arum.

And rightly so. I was at both shows and the Campbell fight was poorly attended and there was almost as many Brits as Linares fans (maybe more and a lot of neutrals) and this past Saturday was definitely more people coming out for Mattheyse but still not a huge crowd. Linares has a great style, but he's never taken off as a draw here. If he's not fighting Loma or Garcia next he should go to England for a Campbell re-match.

I was at the Linares/Campbell fight as well. It was pretty an empty arena. There's a big reason why Linares had been fighting in the overseas. For GB to claim they can make fighters into stars, they've had Linares for over 5 years and he still isn't a draw. That's why GB is ok with Linares fighting UK fighters because they can pay him what GB cant
