  • Comments Thread For: Lomachenko vs. Linares: Arum on Board, Ready To Negotiate

This past weekend, Jorge Linares successfully defended his WBA lightweight title by out-pointing Mercito Gesta at the Forum in Inglewood, California. There are now rumblings of a showdown against two-time champion, Vasyl Lomachenko, who will be moving up to the lightweight division.

Who will Loma be ducking if he fights Linares?

    Crawford? Tank? Mikey? Easter? Salidoe?

I was hoping this fight would be on the Canelo-GG undercard but i guess that’s asking too much.

If Don King was controlling sht, that’s exactly how it would have been.

Wouldn't be mad if this is both guys next fight. I'm more into this fight than Mikey vs Linares. Mikey flipping around all over the place & talking about doing everything & goes to fight a novice champ vs all the better stuff out there so whatever with him in the 1st half of 2018. Like Mikey, but he deserves to get left out here if he does happen to get left out.

It will be hilarious if this gets made and equally, perhaps even more hilarious when the claims come out that he's ducking Easter, Davis, Rigo II or the welterweight division.

Two very pleasing styles and a high speed match. It's a tough fight for Linares, but he has the tools to be competitive at least.
