Canelo is a natural MW that had been draining himself down to face smaller guys.
So he could wait for GGGto get old and show some weakness.
It was a no brainer that Khan was too small for Canelo. Especially with that glass jaw.

You could have just said Mayweather fought Canelo at 152, while Khan fought Canelo at 155.

I mean anyone with a brain could have told you that. But his team should have 100% refused to let him fight Canelo. You have to have your fighters best interest at heart. But I guess they were willing to take the risk to make some big money.
