What's left for Usyk after the WBSS is he wins?

Dorticos\Gassiev are not to be looked past just like Breidis shouldn't have been so overlooked.
I am extremely confident that Dorticos in particular causes Usyk serious problems. By no means are either easy fights or foregone conclusions.

theres no money in fighting a roided up Ward, who has no fanbase. He'll move to HW, no doubt about it.

And It's not a given he'll beat Gassiev/Dorticos who are huge punchers

That makes zero sense, but you making sense would be a shock initself.

How many PPVs did ward Kovalev do? **** all, Ward brings no fans and no money to the table, usyk can make 10 +million in a 90 thousand stadium arena with an AJ fight.

Or he'll jump at the chance to make in or around 1 million to fight Ward in Oakland infront of a half empty arena with paid off judges and officials

i'd probably watch it but kovalev would be incredibly outmatched at CW. that's 25 lbs north on the official scale, and you're going up against a lot of guys who literally cut weight to make 200.

no way his power carries to CW. and while he's got an ok style and jabbed with ward for a while, it's not the kind of style that lends itself to winning rounds against much huger dudes. 6'3" is tall, 78 inches in reach is good for a HW. usyk is just too big. kovalev's gotta stay at 175 to stay viable, that's not a jump just anybody can make.

Maybe he can entice Ward to fight, although that doesn't seem like it would generate much money.

I think his intention is clear. Win this tournament and then move up. Cruiserweights these days are usually too big for Light Heavyweights (175 guys have each other and 168 guys moving up) but too small for Heavyweights.

I think a lot of these European guys are pretty smart about knowing when to quit and how long they will be around. So Usyk stating his intention to try Heavyweight tells me he's wanting to unify/make history now and then obviously if Joshua is the man at Heavyweight he'll make 10-15m and win or lose he's already in the history books, is a national hero and is set for life.

I think he might rematch Briedis, they can sell out that same arena in Riga, not crazy money but they will make some. He will also have a few mandatory defenses. I think he will stick around CW for another year or two.

But he has made it no secret that he will go to heavyweight if he wins this tourney. He walks around between fights at 220lb, and its not a very muscular 220lb. So at heavyweight I can see him going up to a solid 225lb, I don't think he has a lot of pop even at CW but lets say the equivalent power at HW that he does at CW by adding more bulk...it will still work for him, he will decision guys. How far he can go though...anyone's guess. He has the punch resistance...but that is to be asnwered in the final of the tourney as well
