Tank asked for that fight, TMT Leonard Ellerbe is on the record about that. As far as I know nothing has been offered from Toprank ; it seems to me that Lomochenko is using Tank to stay relevant. Begging Gervonta on Twitter is not how you get fights made, but it does help Loma piggy-back hundreds of thousands of Tanks followers on social media.

If he beat Jorge decisively yeah why not? as you see I'm rocking a Murat Gassie sig and Avi ; at first I was not impress but he stepped up and showed class, as far as Lomochenko is concern its about time he stops weight bullying and fight someone that comes to win.

So what? can Lomachenko travel to the UK or Japan, Latin America and headline? didnt he move to the U.S? why is he not headlining in his country? I know Jorge has traveled the world and been the feature. Linares is not with some second rate promoter, GB stood its ground in negotiation with a bigger star in Mikey Garcia.

Fact is Lomochenko is not as big as hardcore think he is.

I think he can probably go to the UK and headline and probably his home country but it's difficult to host fights in Ukraine. Linares was the B side with Mitchell and Crolla. That's like saying Takam is the second biggest active draw in boxing because no other active boxer has been in front of a crowd like that.

Loma draws better gates and ratings than Linares in the US. LA has a good Latino fan base but his fight with Campbell was poorly attended and what little crowd there was a lot where English people.

Fine, legit fight for Lomachenko. Nothing I saw from Linares screams anything for him to worry about, but he is a good fighter and a respected name.

Besides, if Garcia sticks around at 140, this is probably the best fight that can be made for either of them. Lomachenko just now becoming a household name, and Linares needs to take a chance if he wants to be an "A" level fighter.
