Prime Wladimir Klitschko vs. Tyson Fury.

How would a prime Wlad do against Fury?

Same result, I just think stylistically Fury is all wrong for him.
Prime Wlad vs AJ is much more interesting IMO

I also think Fury is stylistically all wrong for him.

Maybe a younger Wlad might win but it would still have been a very difficult night for him. The truth is, not many heavyweights would be equipped to deal with a fighter that is 6'9" and very awkward and has a good ring IQ.

I'd say a similar result as fury would be even more cautious and probably increase the awkward feinting and moving constantly keeping wlad off balance and resetting almost always. which contributed to wlad being gunshy against fury but not aj

Same result.. pre-Sanders Wlad, the aggressive version fares better with Fury.

Have to disagree. Yes wlad was too timid but there was also a lot of physical exhaustion in there. When he finally turned up the heat there wasn't on his normally scary punches.

Same result. Klitschko never learned how to close distance effectively because he never had to.

In his prime I think Wlad would knock Fury out. Fury was dropped and hurt by average punching Cunningham. Wlad hits so much harder with both hands than Cunningham that a good clean power shot to Fury's chin would end the fight and a prime Wlad would land such a punch.
