Dude opened his mouth wide to have his mouthpiece removed, peaks around a bit, then went back to unconscious, Hilarious (@ the 24:35 mark):

It’s like that scene in ‘Snake Eyes’ (underrated Nicolas Cage movie) where the boxer took that dive.Last edited by Sweet Jones; 01-28-2018, 04:50 PM.Comment

He threw himself to the canvas. Call it a dive, call it quitting, in the end it doesn't matter much.
Srisaket Sor Rungvisai is sponsored by a politician called Rungvisai, that's where his nickname comes from. You refer to Srisaket as Rungvisai so I thought you're a fan of the politician. How come you live in Thailand but don't speak Thai or know about your favorite fighter's name?Comment

exactly. the dude was getting a title shot on HBO.. Likely the first and last chance at such he'd get if he didn't win this fight. There was slo mo in the replay on TV.
If he was taking a dive in any way, shape, or form he would have stayed down the first time, or at least not done some Zab Judah jump up and immediately go back down shit.
If he decided to stay down because he didn't want anymore that's one thing, but a dive? No fuckin way my dude.
it was a combination of exhaustion and the punch. and maybe he could have beaten the count, but was just too exhausted for it to have mattered anywayComment

I am going explain why I doubt this guy took a dive and threw the fight vs getting hit very hard against a monster puncher and getting hurt and scared, eventually going to the Hospital.
There was a fight that happened years ago and this fighter was out boxing this other fighter making him miss and look silly. The slick Boxer won their fight and the gloves were taken off and the loser hit the winner with a right hand I believe, shattering the winners face and fractured his bones in his face and shortening his career, never being able to fight again after getting his face fractured.
This is how hard these Boxers hit and Matthysse hits incredibly hard, for his size. So imagine a kickboxing fighter, that basically doesn't roll with punches and has his chin in the air, getting hit by Matthysse and his face and head is hurting like hell. Number one a jab hurt him and put him down and a combo also put him down and Matthysse hits this dam hard, he could literally kill someone, especially with their dam chin high and not rolling with punches, so i highly doubt this fight was fixed.
Now the Loma vs Rigo, fight that was fixed, because no one landed clean power punches, the whole fight, that fight looked really fishy, the Matthysse fight didn't look fishy, at all, to me.Comment
