I don't think he took a dive. More likely that in a fight where very few good shots were landing, he got caught a couple sharp shots he wasn't expecting, maybe he doesn't have a good chin and there you have it.

The "jab" was actually a very strong jab or a straight left hand to a man coming to it.

If you look at the 2nd Knockdown on the slo Mo video, it appears that he ‘flinches’ then drops when it looks like LM was about to throw a right hand.

The fact that it so offended RJJ’s and Max’s boxing sensibilities that even they couldn’t tow the company line is telling though.
