I had it a draw or 7-5 either way - I was with Boxing Scene until 8th but then gave Breidis round nine based on an end of round assault

I think we may have seen Usyk’s ceiling, Briedis was definitely underrated and a rematch is a must after the WBSS. If he came in fitter still he may actually win a rematch, work on the defence which wasn’t terrible but he took too many shots to the head to win tonight.
Yes I expect Usyk to win easy on points against Gassiev. Maybe even late round stoppage.

so he'd probably be more durable & powerful but lose some of his mobility.

Usyk missed a lot because Briedis moved a lot himself. Gassiev is static & slow and an easy target for Usyk to land his shots like he did against Huck.

There can't be a draw. It will be a split decision at worst.

Why does this a$$hole writer keep talking about fights from the end of the fight to the beginning. No other boxing writer in the history of boxing and writing does that shiznit.

This fight could have gone either way really. Briedis is a very good fighter. I had it a draw...but didnt really score the fight. Would love to see a rematch. Great fight
