    WBO cruiserweight Oleksandr Usyk (last 4 fights) threw 14 more total punches per round than Marius Briedis (last 4 fights) and landed slightly more. Both have above average jabs, Usyk landing 7.4 per round (throwing 40.9) and Briedis landing 6.3 jabs per round). Briedis opponents landed just 20.1% of their total punches (cruiser. avg.: 29.7%) and just 21.7% of their power shots (cruiser avg.: 37.2%). Usyk opponents landed 27.5% of their power shots- 10% lower than cruiser. avg.

    Can't wait just please don't turn out to be anything that remotely resembles Breidis vs Perez That monstrosity gave me violent flashbacks of Wlad vs Povetkin

      Well, if Briedis did that with Perez there is no reason to expect anything different against Usyk, who is much superior to both... I am afraid this one will be a semi-stinker. Hope to be wrong, though.

        I think most of that was on Perez but I don't expect hager-hearns either but I WILL ALWAYS watch 2 top 3 go at it.

            Usyk is starting to show some sign of weakness here and there. As I wrote elsewhere, he'd better stay at cruiser; real heavyweights would do damage on him, boxing skills or not.
