This is will be The Fight to see, but I do agree Crawford needs to settle in to 147. Taking on Horn won’t really prove anything to me before he takes on, in my humble opinion, the top 147 lb fighter. Taking on the Porters, Vargas or Khan (Ok maybe not Khan) would be a great set up before Spence. Would be great for 2019

I understand why arum gets a bad rap but if you think about it, he put Oscar in with undefeated versions of quartey and Trinidad, he put mayweather in with an undefeated Diego corales when people thought corales was going to kill him, and he's also put cotto and pac in with top/dangerous opponents throughout their careers. Crawford isn't as big a name as any of those guys so maybe he will make the fight sooner rather than later.
