Derrick James would be a big change for Broner and he would have made Adrien be more aggressive like Charlo has been. That would be a good fit at this stage of Broner's career.

Jermall is just as aggressive, and is still with Ronnie Shields. Derrick James has done a good job with Jermell, but remember that is was Shields who trained him for many years! YOUNG LIONS!

broner already has some what of a slick/boxing style with decent defense, he just needs to let his hands go more often and he needs to throw more than just a 1 or 2 punch.

Broner is beyond fixing now. It is not his trainers fault, but Broner's himself. If Broner is not willing to fix himself from within, by keeping in shape and out of trouble and partying all hours of the night, then he is just wasting his time.

A trainers job is to get you in fighting shape physically and mentally, but you gotta walk your @ss into the gym first. Nobody can force you. Fame and Money got to Broner, not a bad trainer.

I think he should have been switched trainers everybody knows Broner problem is his low work rate and lack of combinations. However I think he made a mistake by getting Cunningham that's just imo smh why not go after Ronnie Shields, Derrick James or even Barry Hunter. But we'll see how he does in this fight you never know if he's truly a no nonsense guy it could work............ Maybe

stafford should've been fired ages ago. it dont matter how long they know each other it was clear as day broner had no respect for that man's voice. any trainer that cant keep a fighter disciplined should leave that fighter alone. cunningham seems like a take no sht type of guy which might help broner. stafford was a pushover. but I still think derrick james, john david jackson or robert garcia would've been a better fit. broner is still young so his flaws are fixable. but if he keeps abusing his body in between fights theres no hope for him.

nope. he actually need a strict white/latino trainer. (i know roach is not strict) but his style of training will suit broner well.

a black trainer, broner will fit right in and will be too comfortable. broner needs to step outside of his comfort zone.

broner's defense is not that bad so he doesnt need to be more defensive than he already is. he needs to start letting his hands go like in the lower weights.

he used to take his opponents out early because he was agressive. now he's gun shy and cant pull the trigger. i just think a more aggressive broner will be a lot tougher to beat for any top guys out there.
