Im glad since all the expert boxingscene bloggers were so concerned with gvozdky getting his title shot. Everyone in the division is supposedly scared of him and bivol lol

Alvarez will block that from happening.
What is crazy is that Yvon Michel is able to get Stevenson-Jack done because Stevenson wanted it but he can't get two of his own fighters to fight each other...and now Alvarez may end up losing his position because of it

Michel was never in a rush to get to Stevenson-Alvarez because Alvarez is the future and hadn't peaked yet and Stevenson still had a few good years left. The fight makes way more sense when it's time for Stevenson to pass the torch to Alvarez instead of doing the fight years ago when it wouldn't have been a big money fight.
Michel knows exactly what he's doing and the WBC has already confirmed that Alvarez is not losing his position.

three years ago, not only did michel believe alvarez would lose, but it wasn't even a big money fight. what was the point?
alvarez has a better chance of winning as stevenson slows down and an alvarez victory is michel's preference.
