Why is Jermell Charlo fighting in June?

His last fight was in October and lasted over 2 minutes.

I think it made too much sense for him to be the co-main event to the 154 unification between Lara-Hurd on April 7?

They also fought in October on the same card.

The only way this makes sense is if he's fighting the winner. That's a 3 month window basically from April 7 to June 9.

He should have been on Lara-Hurd. He had the least rounds and punishment of the three.

Are they trying to seperate the bros? They used to fight on the sane card.

Why even waste time talking about fighters who intentionally want to fight less often?

Pretty sure it wasn't his choice.

Yea PBC is dropping the ball over & over & over with keeping these amazing talents out of the ring so long. The Charlo's & Spence specifically seem like they all have P4P potential & face of boxing possibilities & should be fighting as much as possible. Like 3 times a year, maybe 4 if we can swing it & the last fight wasn't too rough, which none of these guys have been having many rough fights.

A peak of these 3 guys since PBC came around:

Big fan and believer in both Charlo brothers and their progress has been disappointingly slow. I think fighting 2x a year makes sense when you're a genuine star, headlining PPVs and taking on the very best in the biz. Not when you're building.

                Very disappointing figures.

Whose choice is it then? Is he a child? He could have fought the next day, yet here he is content in taking long layoffs.

Yeah i also thought it was really strange... jermell needs to get back in the ring ASAP. Especially on that Lara-Hurd card, it would build the fight between the winners
